Description

The Mobile Utilities Support Equipment Division of the U.S. Naval Construction Battalion Center, Port Hueneme, CA, has a requirement to repair substations. Each substation shall have a new transformer tank constructed, all transformers and transformer bushings shall be re-qualified, and each substation shall be painted. The transformers shall be tested and certified for continued in-service use. This is a firm-fixed price indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (FFP/IDIQ) procurement with a base year and two option years. Delivery orders may consist of a minimum of one and maximum of four substations per year. Bid opening will be conducted on May 15, 2001 at 1330 hours, Building 41, Naval Base Ventura County, Port Hueneme, CA. The solicitation and any applicable attachments are located at http://esol.navfac.navy.mil/. It is anticipated the solicitation will be posted on e-sol no later than April 13, 2001.
