Description

The VA Black Hills Health Care System intends to award contract(s) for Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOC) to provide Primary Care Services on an outpatient basis for approximately 1200 veterans residing in the Pierre, South Dakota and surrounding area. The CBOC is to be located within the city limits of Pierre, South Dakota. The CBOC will be responsible for managing the veterans' primary medical care. Referrals for sub-specialty care and hospitalization will be made to the VA's located in Black Hills Health Care System (Fort Meade or Hot Springs, South Dakota). It is expected that the contract(s) will be awarded on or before May 31, 2001 with services to begin on or about July 1, 2001 for one-year period with four renewal options. Offers must be received by COB May 31, 2001. Offers are being solicited on a per visit charge, capitated basis, fee for service. A telephone conference call will be made at a specified date if required.
