Description

This sources sought announcement is for a funded commercial items requirement; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This announcement (reference number F26600-01-Q-B041) is issued as a Request or Quotation (RFQ) to locate small businesses to satisfy this requirement. This document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 97-19. This acquisition is set aside exclusively for small business concerns. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 339920. FAR part 19 classifies small businesses as those that have 500 or less employees. Offerors shall submit their quote according to the below mentioned CLINs. Offers are due by 2:30 P.M. (PST) on 24 April 01, and can be mailed or hand carried to 99 CONS/LGCB, Attn: SSgt John O_Dell, 5865 Swaab Blvd. Nellis AFB, NV. 89191-7063, or faxed to (702) 652-5405. No e-mailed quotes will be accepted. The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, parts, materials, transportation and all else necessary to deliver SCUBA diving equipment manufactured by U.S. Divers Aqua-Lung, or approved equal. The following line items are included for this requirement: CLIN 0001 _ Helicopter Aircrew Breathing Device, SRU-40/P Regulator P/N 102800, QTY 55 ea. CLIN 0002 _ Cover, Mouthpiece P/N M1006-53, QTY 100 ea. All supplies will be delivered FOB destination to Nellis Air Force Base, NV 89191. Technical acceptability of substitutions will be determined through a technical evaluation by Government personnel. Descriptive literature and specification sheets shall be submitted with the quote. A copy of the commercial warranty shall be submitted with the quote. A copy of the Representation and Certification documentation shall be submitted with the quote. Failure to provide any of the aforementioned items will deem Contractor inelegible for award. All contractors are required to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to receive a DOD award or payment. Lack of registration in CCR will make an offeror ineligible for award. Contractor may obtain information on registration via the Internet at http://www.ccr2000.com.
