Description

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) is in need of a contractor to perform demolition services, with the capability to perform asbestos abatement, for Village Square Apartments in Little Rock, Arkansas. The magnitude of the project is between $1-$2 million, and must be completed within 90 days of issuance of a Notice to Proceed. This acquisition is being offered for competition limited to eligible 8(a) concerns that possess the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 23594. Interested 8(a) firms are encouraged to request a copy of the solicitation as expeditiously as possible since the solicitation will be issued without further notice. Request for a solicitation may be made by letter directed to the above address or by FAX to (817) 978-5431. Requests must be accompanied by the requesting 8(a) firm's SBA 8(a) identification number (06690110233600). There will be a pre-bid conference conducted for this IFB. The pre-bid conference will be held May 15, 2001, in the HUD Arkansas Office, located at 425 West Capitol Avenue, Suite 900, Little Rock, Arkansas. The starting time is 11:00 A.M. local time. A site visit is planned for 2:00 P.M. this same day.
