Description

18. The Naval Air Systems Command, Air Combat Electronics Program Office, has the requirement to procure services to support L-3 Communications' Traffic Alert and Collision Avoidance System (TCAS). The technical integration and installation services are necessary to support the OEM's models RT-951, XS-950IFF, G6992-02, G7300-01, AT-910, DV-910, and S65-5366-7L into C-2, C/KC-130, and UP-3/VP-3 aircraft. The services will be acquired on a sole-source basis from L-3 Communications, Phoenix AZ 85027. L-3 Communications is the only contractor to have the knowledge, data, and experience (both with the models listed above and with recent TCAS integrations on these aircraft) to adequately provide these services.
