Description

Nine (9) each Embedded Global Positioning System Receiver Cards, Army Part Number 13328525, National Stock Number 5998-01-424-0998, quotation due 1 June 2001, delivery due 31 July 2001. Delivery will be to the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command at Redstone Arsenal, AL. A written Request for Quotation (RFQ) will be issued to Honeywell International Corp., the actual manufacturer of the part, with award anticipated on or before 30 Jun 2001. This procurement is restricted to Honeywell International Corp., 13350 US Highway 19 North, Clearwater, FL 33764-7290 because it has been determined that Honeywell is the only source technically capable of performing this effort in a timely manner. No known small business source could perform this effort. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. However, any request for a copy of the RFQ from a foreign firm must be submitted through the country's embassy in Washington, DC. Any foreign firm interested in subcontracting opportunities must contact the prime contractor directly. See Notes 22 and 26.
