Description

Synopsis: This requirement is for repair of 16 components of the AN/GRC 206 V 5 Radios. We anticipate a fixed-price, 1-year requirements contract, with two six-month options for additional periods of repairs. Upon completion of repairs, the material will be delivered to Robins AFB, GA. The approximate issue date will be: 8 May 2001 with the approximate response date of 8 June 2001. The solicitation will be posted on our web site http://pkec.robins.af.mil. The buyer is Henry F. Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), Justification: Supplies (or Services) required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible source(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. A complete engineering data package is not available for competitive solicitation due to proprietary rights claims by the manufacturer. If the contracting Officer does not satisfy your concerns, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels.
