2nd Annual Missiles & Rockets Symposium & Exhibition May 14 -- 16, 2001 San Antonio, TX SYMPOSIUM DESCRIPTION Join the World's Technical Experts in Missile and Rocket Technology in San Antonio, TX. The 2nd Annual Missiles and Rockets Symposium and Exhibition will be keynoted by Dr. William McCorkle, one of the World's foremost leaders in missile technology. Learn about the latest developments in Warheads, Propulsion, Guidance as well as Advanced Technologies in Directed Energy Weapons, and Advanced Concepts. Invited Guests include:senior representatives from the U.S. Army (PEO Tactical Missiles, Aviation and Missile Command, and Space and Missile Defense Command), U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, and BMDO. The conference registration fee includes attendance at all sessions, continental breakfasts, coffee breaks, lunch, reception, and administrative costs. Registrations will not be taken over the phone. Payment must be made at the time of registration. When registering on-line (through our web page), please review your information and then "submit" and "confirm" your entry. On-line registration will close after May 6, 2001. You must register on-site after this date. Cancellations and Refund Policy: All cancellations must be made in writing and sent to NDIA. Registrations cancelled before by April 13, 2001 will receive a full refund. Registrations received between April 14 and May 6, 2001 will receive a refund minus the cancellation fee of $75. No refunds will be given for cancellations received after Monday, May 6, 2001; however, substitutions are welcome. This badge must be worn while attending all conference functions. Attendee Roster: An attendee roster will be included in the revised agenda at the conference. In order to appear on the roster, you must be registered by Monday, May 7, 2001. An updated roster will NOT be printed after the conference. Conference Attire: Civilian business attire or military duty uniform is the appropriate dress for this conference. Proceedings: The proceedings will be available through the Defense Technical Inforamtion Center (DTIC) and will be available in approximately two weeks after the conference. Hotel Accommodations: A block of rooms has been reserved at the Adam's Mark Hotel. The industry room rate is $139 single. The government per diem room rate is $91 single. The government room rate applies only to active duty military and civilian government employees. It is not available to government contractors, retired military or retired civilian government employees. ID cards and/or travel orders will be required at check-in to verify rate eligibility. Reservations must be made before Friday, April 20, 2001. After that date, reservations will be accepted on a space and rate available basis. The agenda will be structured to facilitate viewing of displays, which will be located near the technical sessions. Fees for each 8' x 10' booth space start at $1,200, and include fabric back and side walls, a 7" x 44" booth ID sign as well as two complimentary full conference registrations.
