CD's WILL BE PHASED OUT AND YOU WILL HAVE THE ABILITY TO DOWNLOAD PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AS DESIRED. YOU WILL BE NOTIFIED INADVANCE WHEN THIS PROCEDURE WILL BECOME EFFECTIVE. IN ORDER TO INSURE THAT YOU RECEIVE ANY ADDITIONAL AMENDMENTS THAT MAY BE PLACED AGAINST THIS SOLICITATION IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU PROVIDE US WITH A VALID E-MAIL ADDRESS WHEN FILLING OUT INFORMATION TO PLACE YOUR FIRM ON THE PLAN HOLDERS LIST. FAILURE TO DO SO MAY RESULT IN YOUR FIRM NOT RECIVEING A COPY OF ANY ADDITIONAL AMENDMENTS AS WE ARE ONLY SENDING THEM OUT ELECTRONICALLY. PROJECT TITLE AND LOCATION: Larkspur Ferry Terminal, Channel Maintenance Dredging, Marin County, California. THIS PROPOSED CONTRACT IS UNRESTRICTED. JOB DESCRIPTION: Work includes maintenance dredging of Larkspur Ferry Terminal Channel of approximately 507,000 cubic yards of material to provide a channel project depth of -13'MLLW, plus 1 foot allowable over depth, turning basin project depth of 15' MLLW, plus 1 foot allowable over depth, and disposing of dredging material at the Government-Furnished open water disposal site SF-11 or at an alternate Contractor-Furnished land disposal site. NAICS CODE: This procurement will be conducted under NAICS code 234990. The size standard for this NAICS code is $27,500,000.00. Large businesses competing for this project must comply with the FAR 52.219-9 clause regarding the requirement for a subcontracting plan on the part of the work it intends to subcontract. The recommended goals for subcontracting are 61.4% for small business, 9.1% for small disadvantaged business, and 5.0% for small business/women owned. A firm that submits a plan with lesser goals must submit written rationale to support goals submitted. Estimated cost is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Plans and Specifications can only be ordered electronically by accessing internet address: http://ebs.spk.usace.army.mil/ Please complete the requested information to avoid a delay in your order. Orders received beyond the CUT OFF DATE of 05/08/01 will not be honored. Plans and Specifications will be mailed out on or about 05/11/01. Because a limited number of sets will be reproduced, copies are limited to one set per firm. All responsible sources may submit a bid which will be considered by the agency.
