PROJECT TITLE AND LOCATION: Larkspur Ferry Terminal, Channel Maintenance Dredging, Marin County, California. THIS PROPOSED CONTRACT IS UNRESTRICTED. JOB DESCRIPTION: Work includes maintenance dredging of Larkspur Ferry Terminal Channel of approximately 507,000 cubic yards of material to provide a channel project depth of -13'MLLW, plus 1 foot allowable over depth, turning basin project depth of 15' MLLW, plus 1 foot allowable over depth, and disposing of dredging material at the Government-Furnished open water disposal site SF-11 or at an alternate Contractor-Furnished land disposal site. NAICS CODE: This procurement will be conducted under NAICS code 234990. The size standard for this NAICS code is $27,500,000.00. Large businesses competing for this project must comply with the FAR 52.219-9 clause regarding the requirement for a subcontracting plan on the part of the work it intends to subcontract. The recommended goals for subcontracting are 61.4% for small business, 9.1% for small disadvantaged business, and 5.0% for small business/women owned. A firm that submits a plan with lesser goals must submit written rationale to support goals submitted. Estimated cost is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00.
