Description

The Defense Supply Center, Columbus (DSCC) is pursuing a twelve year Indefinite Quantity Contract for approximately 355 NSNs. The solicitation is for part numkbered items manufactured by John Crane Inc. (71724) or (0SYN4). The items being acquired will primarily be used to support the stock replensihment system. However, the contractor will also be required to support direct vendor delivery and FMS shipments. The items being procured are for spare parts that support "pump" related equipment. Federal stock classes included, but not limited to, 2010, 2040, 2825, 4320, 2510, 4730 and 4820. The Government's required delivery is 45 days for all items. However, intersted offerors are strongly encourage to offer a better delivery. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. Note 12 applies. This solicitation is available on the Internet at http://dibbs.dscccols.com/Rfq. on its issue date of 10 May 2001. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available.Specifications, plans or drawings are not available. Contractors will be requried to support items for which the Government does not possess complete technical data. Approved sources and part numbers are cited in the procurement item descriptions for each NSN. Each NSN will be awarded on an all or none basis. This is an unrestricted acquisition. The proposed procurement includes a family group of items within the Federal Supply Class 4320, 4820, 2010. Offers will be evaluated on price, past performance, and proposed delivery.
