Description

To perform height reduction by dredging of the uppermost portion of the rock pile at the location previously marked by the Ambrose Light Tower. The work consists of the removal and satisfactory placement and approximately 196,000 CY of rock, sand and gravel material above the water depth of 55 feet below MLW. The dredged material will be placed in the Sandy Hook Reef, located approximately 2.0 miles from Sea Bright, New Jersey. The estimated cost range is $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. Completion time is 85 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. The NAICS No. for this project is 234990. Solicitation documents will be available on or about 7 May 2001.
