Description

This is a Two Phase Source Selection Best Value Design Build Solicitation. The scope of work includes providing the design and construction of 260 to 347 two (2) and three (3) bedroom townhouse units at Slocum Village, and demolition of 427 to 514 units in Slocum Village and Hancock Village, MCAS, Cherry Point, North Carolina. Site Improvements may include modifications to existing infrastructure as required for construction of the new family housing units. New townhouse units will reflect the scheme presented in the MCAS master plan for Slocum Village. The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, engineering materials, equipment, tools, parts, supplies and transportation to perform all work described in the specifications. Estimated target award amount is $37,200,000. The contractors will be required to provide Factor 1 -- Corporate Experience, Factor 2 -- Past Performance, Factor 3 -- Small Business Subcontracting Effort, Factor 4 -- Technical Solutions Design Solution Narratives, Concept Design Plan, Proposed Schedule and Number of Units and Sustainable Design Features, and Factor 5 Price. The approximate Solicitation Release Date is 11 May 2001. This solicitation is available in electronic format only. All documents will be in the Adobe Acrobat PDF file format on CD ROM.
