Description

This project is a Request for Quotes to construct trail puncheon in the Absaroka Wilderness on the Shoshone National Forest, Park County, Wyoming. The intent of this project is to construct approx. 400 lineal feet of trail puncheon. All of the preservative treated timber utilized in puncheon construction are government supplied to the work areas. All other materials are Contractor supplied. Trailhead access to the project (Pahaska Trailhead) is located approx. 50 miles west of Cody on US Highway 14-16-20. Puncheon segments are located up to 12 miles north of the Pahaska Trailhead along the Pahaska/Sunlight Trail No. 751 and the Red Creek Trail No. 751.2D. The performance period for the proposed contract is 45 calendar days. The estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. This will be a firm, fixed-price contract. The proposed contract is available under full and open competition. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered.
