Description
Request information from contractors in the South East that have utilized Precast Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (PAAC). The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Savannah, GA is seeking information for the PAAC wall panle system. PAAC is a full-line high-quality Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC) building product for structural and non-structural wall applications. PACC Precast Wall Systems can be used in curtain walls and in-fill, as well as load bearing applications, either vertically or horizontally. Weighing as little as one-fifth the weight of conventional concrete systems. PACC Precast Wall Systems can improve thermal performance resulting in reduced HVAC equipment requirements and lower operating costs while providing unsurpassed fire protection, weight reduction and sound intonation. PACC cost-effective solutions for the following: (1) Load bearing single and multi-story precast walls; (2) Non-load bearing in-fill, curtain walls, and precast spandrels; (3) Load bearing and non-load bearing fire walls; and (4) Sheer walls. The Project will be a Dormitory at Moody AFB, GA.
