Description

The Social Security Administration is interested in receiving quotes on the following brand-name only parts describe: (1) Valve Packing for Honeywell valves # V5011 series, Part # 14003294-002; (2) Valve, Mfg. Honeywell, # ML7984A3001; (3) Valve, Mfg. Honeywell, # V5013F-1079-1; (4) Dual Stat. Mfg. Barber Coleman Part # TP8124-001; (5) Hydraulic Actuator Mfg. Barber Coleman Part # MP5210-0-0-3; (6) Valve, Mfg. Barber Coleman Part # VB-7211-000-4-046; (7) Valve Linkage Kit Mfg. Barber Coleman Part # AV600. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplement with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written request for quotations will not be issued. The solicitation number for this acquisition is request for quotation (RFQ) number SSA-RFQ-01- 0191. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-24. The associated NAICS code is 421740; this is a non-restrictive solicitation. Written quotations submitted in response to this notice shall be submitted by 3:00 PM, local prevailing time, on April 27, 2001 and shall be addressed to the Social Security Administration, Office of Acquisition and Grants Attention: Sharon Hall (telephone (410) 965-9534), 1710 Gwynn Oak Avenue, Baltimore, Maryland 21207; or faxed to (410) 966-9310. Quotations submitted in response to this notice shall be for ALL parts listed above; partial awards will not be made. Delivery of all items shall be made 30 days after receipt of order. The provision of FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items (Oct 2000) applies to this acquisition. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer comforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government based on quoted price for the brand-name parts listed above. Offerors must propose firm-fixed prices for all items. Offerors are required to include a completed and signed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (Apr 2001) with their quotation. The clause at Far 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions_Commercial Items (MAR 2001) applies to this acquisition. The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items (FEB 2001) applies to this acquisition, especially: (b)(11), (b)(12), (b)(13), (b)(14), (b)(15), (b)(16), (b)(18), (b)(19)(iii), (b)(21) and (b)(25).
