Description

This solicitation will be available on the Internet at http://www.dsccols.com. not sooner than 15 days after this notice is published in the CBD. Requests for hard copies of this solicitation will not be accepted. The contract specialists will not be able to provide copies of solicitation. This solicitation is for the procurement of a (53669) Packard-Hughes Interconnect Inc. part number (P/N) 1093402-4S IAW source controlled drawing (13973) Litton drawing number 867299-0036. It will close on or about 12 JUN 01. This solicitation is for an IDC for NSN 5935-01-066-7127, connector, receptacle. Federal, military and commercial specifications cannot be provided by DSCC. Specification, plans, or drawings are not available. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one time at the discretion of the Government. The total extension shall not exceed one year. This is an unrestricted acquisition. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete unrestricted technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources. Item appears to be sole source to (53669) Packard-Hughes Interconnect Inc. While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award may be as described in the solicitation. Note 26 applies. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation as applicable. which if timely received will be considered by the agency.
