Synopsis No. 01-024: RFP SP4400-01-R-0015, Service contract for all fees, labor, packaging, removal, transportation, and disposal of hazardous waste stream located at locations in NY (2), NJ, IN, and UT. SP4400-01-R-0015 will be issued on the World Wide Web on or about May 8, 2001. The website address is: http://www.drms.dla.mil/newproc/indes.html. Approximate closing date is June 8, 2001. All offers submitted on SP4400-01-R-0015 must be in an electronic media only. To view DRMS' Electronic Proposal Receipt Guidance go to: http://www.drms.dla.mil/d. This solicatation will be issued as a Small Business Set Aside. This solicitation will result in a single or multiple Firm-Fixed Price Requirements Contract(s). This solicitation will be done in two parts with the first part being submittal of a technical Proposal or Management Plan showing how removal and disposal and clean up will be accomplished. The second part will be bidding submitted by those firms who submitted acceptable technical proposals. It is anticipated that bidding will be by Reverse Auctioneering. Special qualifications: Prospective contractors or subcontractors must be able to meet all Federal, state, and local laws, ordinances and regulations governing handling, transportation, and disposal of hazardous waste materials and environmental protection.
