Description

Operational Contracting, SMC/PKO is procuring and securing a contractor, who shall provide non-personal services for mortuary services to include all supplies, services, and transportation necessary for the care and handling of remains of deceased active duty military personnel located within the confines of the Los Angeles Air Force Base area. All work shall be performed in accordance with the attached Statement of Work (SOW) and requirements of the RFQ. The Government estimates 2-4 occurrences per year. The Government anticipates the award of two (2) Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA) with pre-priced CLINs for a 5-year period. All responses to this request for quotation (RFQ) must make reference to solicitation number F04693-01-T-0207. An updated price list will be submitted annually. The RFQ will be published approximately 11 May 2001 via the Electronic Posting System (EPS) at http://www.eps.gov and the files will be in Microsoft Office format. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which, if timely received, shall be considered by the agency. To be eligible to receive an award resulting from this announcement, DFARS 252.204-7004, requires the contractor to be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. There are NO EXCEPTIONS. You can register via the Internet at http://www.ccr2000.com. A Dun and Bradstreet Number System (DUNS) must accompany your proposal. The basic contract period is anticipated to begin 18 June 2001 to 30 Sep 2001. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 81221 and the size standard is $5.0 Million.
