Description

Single award term contract for the Department of Education (UNCG/SERVE)in Tallahassee, FL. Beginning Date of Award and ending April 30, 2002. Assumed area of production within a 350-mile radius of Tallahassee, FL. Quality level III required. These specifications cover the production of books and pamphleets with self- or separate-covers requiring such operations as electronic prepress, printing (including 4-color process), binding, packing, and distribution. Approximately 30 orders per year. Approximately 500 to 3,000 copies per order; approximately 32 to 200 pages per order. Averages as follows: Saddle stitched products average 2,400 copies, 36 pages; Perfect bound products average 2,100 copies, 126 pages; Loose-leaf products average 750 copies, 178 pages. Trim size: Text/Covers -- 6 x 9" up to and including 8-1/2 x 11"; Tab dividers -- 9 x 11" including 1/2" tab. Camera copy, photoprints, and electronic media will be furnished. Proofs will be required on most orders. Various stocks required. Print face only or face and back in single or multiple ink colors (including four-color process). Various binding styles will be ordered. Most of the orders deliver f.o.b. destination to Tallahassee, FL; however, occasionally an order will deliver f.o.b. destination to Greensboro, NC. Occasionally, a portion of the order will deliver to Tallahassee, FL and the balance to Greensboro, NC. Inside delivery required. Complete production and delivery within 5 to 15 workdays.
