Description

This procurement is being made under the Small Business Competiveness Demonstration Program and is set aside for small businesses. The requirement calls for the renovation of the Federal Building, Tuscaloosa, Alabama in accordance with specification and plans. Construction completion is 365 days after issuance of notice to proceed. Magnitude of construction is $1,000,000.00 -- $5,000,000.00. Solicitation package to be issued on or about 11 May 2001, and can be acquired only through this office. A pre-proposal site visit is planned for 29 Mar 2001 at the site, time is 12:00 noon. Confirm date and time with Contracting Officer at least one business day before planned date. Interested, responsible firms in the solicitation category may request their firms be added to the mailing list by responding to this notice. Only written requests will be honored. Written requests must contain mailing address, point(s) of contact, e-mail, fax number and other information sufficent to insure contact. Faxed requests shall not be acccepted. Telephone requests will not be honored. Note 1 applies.
