Description

The work consists of the contractor furnishing all plant, labor, parts, tools, personnel, equipment, supervision and materials necessary to perform all operations, in strict accordance with specifications and applicable drawings. The scope of work for this project primarily includes, but is not limited to replace thirty-eight (38) wood sash windows with arctic style plastic tilt / turn windows. The main building arctic entrance is refurbished through replacement of storefront glazing and two sets of double doors complete with closers and hardware at Clear Air Force Station, Alaska. Survey results indicate the presence of lead based paint on wooden window sash, trim and sills. Survey results also indicate the presence of non-friable asbestos caulking used around the store front curtain wall glazing. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 235920 with at size standard of $11.5 million. This project consists of one base item. The magnitude of this project is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. This acquisition is being made under full and open competition conditions. THIS SOLICITATION IS PAPERLESS AND WILL ONLY BE AVAILABLE VIA THE INTERNET FOR VIEWING AND DOWNLOADING AT FedBizOpps.gov . AMENDMENTS WILL BE PROVIDED ON THE INTERNET ONLY.
