Archive date was changed from May 04, 2001 to Jun 19, 2001 The following solicitation will be issued on 4 May 01: F01600-01-R0075 -- Provide all plant, labor, materials, transportation, equipment, and incidentals necessary to Replace Chiller (Bldg 857) at Maxwell AFB _ Gunter Annex. Proposal is broken down into 6 base items. Recovery of CFC-11 refrigerant in #2 chiller and turn over to the government. Removal of #2 Chiller. Demolition of existing chiller slab. Construct new chiller slab. Install new 400-ton variable speed drive centrifugal chiller with HCFC-123 refrigerant. Install new valves and piping to cross-connect existing chilled water pumps. The project performance period is 120 calendar days. The magnitude of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000 dollars. Performance Price Tradeoffs (PPT) procedures will be utilized for this procurement and proposals will be solicited on a firm-fixed price lump sum basis. The North American Industry Classification System code assigned to this acquisition is 235110. This requirement will be solicited unrestricted both large and small businesses may apply. The Request for Proposal (RFP) package will be available for downloading and viewing at http://www.eps.gov. A site visit will be conducted at Maxwell AFB Gunter Annex on 15 May 01. Proposals will be due not later than 4:00pm (local time) on or about 4 Jun 01. Telegraphic proposals are authorized. Exact site visit and proposal due dates will be available upon issuance of the solicitation. Except for the drawings, the RFP package will be available on the Internet. All proposals and other attachments required for the proposal submittal, including amendments to the proposal submittal, shall be in paper medium. All requests for clarifications relating to this RFP must be faxed to (334) 953-3527. All contractors interested in receiving notification of updates/amendments to the solicitation posted on the EPS are urged to enroll on the web site mailing list for this acquisition.
