Description

Renovation of an existing administrative building 1301 located at the 187th Fighter Wing, Montgomery Regional Airport at Dannelly Field, Montgomery, Alabama. The renovated space will be utilized mainly as administrative/office area. Provide work in accordance with the plans and specification for the renovation of building 1301. Major areas of work to be accomplished in the north half of the building (approximately 5100 SF) include demolition of interior finishes/walls, demolition of approximately 250 SF asbestos floor tile, new interior walls/finishes, restroom/plumbing renovation, new HVAC mechanical system, electrical work to include lighting and power, auxiliary systems to include communications (voice/data) and fire alarm, new exterior metal canopy work, overhead door removal/exterior finishes to match existing. Work to be accomplished in the south half of the building (approximately 3500 SF) include patching and painting, new communication wiring and outlets (voice/data). Estimated cost of construction is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. A non-refundable check of $25.00 made payable to DFAS/SA, San Antonio, Texas is required for each set of plans and specifications. Bid documents are available from the USPFO for Alabama, ATTN: AL-US-P, PO Box 3715,Montgomery, AL 36109-0715. Plans and specifications will be made available for viewing at the F W Dodge Plans Room, Montgomery, AL and the office of the Base Civil Engineer, Dannelly Field (ANG), Montgomery, Alabama. This project is 100% unrestricted. IFB Number DAHA01 01 B 0002 will be issued with an anticipated issue date of May 10, 2001, and a bid opening on or about June 12, 2001.
