Description

Work includes but is not limited to: Provide all labor, supervision, materials, tools, travel expenses, and equipment necessary to perform gas leak survey, inspection and tests of regulator stations, corrosion surveys, checks of the cathodic protection system for the gas lines, and valve maintenance. The contractor shall keep complete records of all surveys, tests, inspections, and maintenance to include dates of inspections or maintenance performed, locations, and classifications of leaks. The contractor shall perform all work in strict compliance with Transportation Safety Institutes Pipeline Safety Regulations 49 CFR Part 192 -- Minimum Federal Safety Standards. Anything damaged by the contractor's negligence shall be restored to original conditions without additional cost to the government. This will be a firm fixed price type contract. This acquisition is unrestricted under the Small Business Competitevness Demonstration Program. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) is 23599. The size standard for a small business concern is $7 million. IFB issuance is on or about 7 May 2001. Requests shall include complete company name, mailing address, phone, and fax numbers, taxpayer identification number, business size, cage code, DUNS number and nine digit zip code. Failure to provide this information may eliminate company from inclusion on the Bidder's Mailing list. Also indicate if this is a woman owned, minority, or veteran's owned business.
