Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a Request for Proposal (RFP) and the solicitation number is DATMO5-01-R-0006. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAR) 97-24. The anticipated contract will be Firm-Fixed Price Requirements Contract for a five year performance period. This requirement is unrestricted. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 335921 and the size standard (manufacturing) is 1000 employees. CLIN 0009 Test Reports listed on DD Form 1423, Contract Data Requirements and DD Form 1664, Data Item Description constitutes the sole contractual list of requirements for the amounts and kinds of data required under this contract. The contractor shall deliver the required data, and the price attributable to the production or development thereof for the Government shall be included in the total price. The government will award to the technically acceptable low price proposal evaluated against the elements in Section 3.0 and 4.0 of the White Sands Missile Range Purchase Description (PD). The Quality Assurance requirements in this PD shall be met by compliance with inspection test in Section 4.0 of the PD. Delivery is FOB Destination 60 days after issuance of a Delivery Order, to Transportation Officer, Bldg. 1840, White Sands Missile Range, NM 88002. Any award resulting from this RFP will be issued on a Standard Form (SF) 1449.
