Description

The Defense Threat Reduction Agency is contemplating award on a sole source basis to Titan Corporation, Chatsworth, CA, under contract DTRA01-99-C-0084, for further software development and integration under the Hazard Prediction Assessment Capability (HPAC) Atmospheric Transport Program. Titan is currently the developer of the HPAC Atmospheric Transport Model. The proposed effort will include items such as: 1) Development of a Conventional Casualty Estimation Toolkit and 2) Software Integration and support for the Urban Dispersion Model (UDM). THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Any other firm desiring consideration must fully identify its capability to perform this requirement. A determination by the Government to not conduct this effort as a full and open competitive procurement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
