Description

Demolish portion of Facility 468 (Legal Center). Work shall encompass everything associated with exterior and interior of building systems to include roofing, foundation, structural, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical. Exterior wall contains lead based paint and asbestos transite shingle sidings. Interior floor tiles and mastics also contain asbestos. The work includes asbestos and lead based paint abatement and removal. After removal of foundation, contractor to grade and compact project site. Soil samples beneath bldg 468 contain a high concentration of DDT. SEE NOTE 27: The proposed contract is set aside for HUBZone small business concerns.
