Description

The Government intends to purchase, on a sole source basis, management and administrative services for the planning, coordination, logistics, advertisement and provision of needed resources (personnel and material) to hold the fourth annual Career Fair at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, on 13 October 2001. The requirement also includes visits to targeted schools. This is a requirement for commercial services that will be processed using FAR Part 13.5 procedures. The resultant purchase order will be placed with National Conference Services, Inc. (NCSI), 6440-C Dobbin Road, Columbia, Maryland 21045. Market research has shown that NCSI is the only firm with the requisite knowledge and resources to perform all requirements within the required timeframe. The request for quotation (RFQ) anticipated issuance date is 30 April 2001. The anticipated award date is 01 June 2001. Interested parties other than NCSI must be able to demonstrate in writing by 30 April 2001, their capability to provide the requested services. This must include, as a minimum, a notional administrative approach to accomplish required tasking and past performance references for similar efforts within the most recent 18-month period to include customer, description of services provided, contract number, value, and point of contact (name and current phone number).
