Description

8(a) Program contract for Custodial Services. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials/supplies equipment, transportation and management necessary to provide custodial services for various customers aboard the Naval Weapons Station, Yorktown, Virginia, and at Cheatham Annex which is approximately seven (7) miles north of the Naval Weapons Station. There are approximately sixty-four (64) buildings at the Naval Weapons Station and approximately 38 buildings at Cheatham Annex that receive custodial services. A Combination Definite Delivery and Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract will be awarded. All contract pricing will be fixed price. The anticipated "Start Date" for the contract will be October 01, 2001. The Base performance period will end on September 30, 2002. The contract will have four (4) option periods of up to twelve months per option. This acquisition is restricted to 8(a) Program contractors s serviced by the U.S. Small Business Administration , Richmond District Office, Richmond, Virginia. The Invitation for Bids (IFB) will be posted on the NAVFACENGCOM Electronic Solicitation (E-sol) web site on or about 24 May 2001. The Estimated Bid Opening Date (BOD) is 26 June 2001.
