Description

Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision, and disposal necessary for window and door replacement at two (02) U.S. Coast Guard housing units located on Martha's Vineyard, Ma (Dukes County). Work includes, but is not limited to, (a) removal of exterior doors, sliding doors, and exterior windows, including the removal of door and window furnishings including curtains and blinds for reinstallation upon completion of work; (b) installation of new doors, sliding door, and windows in accordance with this specification; (c) installation of new exterior and interior door and window trim to match existing; (d) paint and stain new trims and doors to match existing; (e) final inspection and acceptance by COTR and site cleanup. A payment bond will be required prior to commencement for any awards over $25K. Solicitation packages will be available from 4/23/01 to 05/29/01 at a cost of $33.89 per package, which includes shipping. The NIACS code for this project is 233210.
