Description

This work is located at two separate sites, approximately 1/2-mile apart. One site is located at the intersection of Castle Hot Springs Road with the entrance to the North Entry Station to Lake pleasant, and the other site is located at the Castle Creek Boat Ramp parking lot. The work is in Yavapai County, approximately 40 miles northwest of Phoenix, Arizona. The work consists of performing repairs to correct drainage problems at an existing entry station structure and boat ramp parking aea. The drainage problems are described as follows: NORTH ENTRY STATION: Storm water is entering the building from surface and subsurface run off. Surface water is entering the building because of the inward slope of the existing concrete adjoining the building. Subsurface water is entering the building by flowing under the concrete walkway and seeping through the subsurface mortar joints in the building wall. CASTLE CREEK BOAT RAMP PARKING LOT: Storm water is being ponded at two locations along the entrance to the parking area. Water cannot drain from these areas because of sidewalk and parking area curbing.
