Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division plans to negotiate on a sole source basis with the Lockheed Martin Information Systems, Orlando, FL for the installation of Consolidated Automated Support System (CASS) stations. These CASS station installations will be added as a modification to the Basic Agreement (BA) N68335-00-H-0103. The estimated quantity of installations is approximately 80 per year. These installations will be done to CASS stations at both Domestic & Foreign locations for a period of six years beginning 01 October 2001 to the completion of the BA. The Government intends to procure these services under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1. The government does not own data, drawings, software code or other specifications to permit full and open competition. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal, which may be used by the government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses should reference N68335-00-H-0103. A determination by the government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. The Navy anticipates a firm fixed price contract. No solicitation will be available for this procurement.
