- Description
- The U. S. Coast Guard Civil Engineering Unit Juneau plans to issue a Request for Quotation for the procurement of a new top running, overhead electric 20 ton crane. Incidental requirements include removal of existing 15 ton bridge crane, the replacement of the crane rails, rail clips, end stops, double reeve hoist, trolley, cable, block, pendant controls, and the bridge structure with catwalk, replacement of conduit, electrical wiring and circuit breakers, load testing, crane certification, and operator training. Project site is located at the U. S. Coast Guard Integrated Support Command Ketchikan, Ketchikan, Alaska. The proposed contract action is for supplies and incidental services the Government intends to acquire as a commercial supply item using FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13.5 TEST PROGRAM FOR CERTAIN COMMERCIAL ITEMS. The NAICS Code 333923 is assigned. The size standard is 500 employees. All qualified responsible sources may submit a Quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. INTERESTED PARTIES ARE NOTIFIED THAT THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE AVAILABLE EXCLUSIVELY THROUGH THE INTERNET ON OR ABOUT MAY 15, 2001.
