Description

This is a video testing system that is used to test and evaluate video equipment to be approved for use at US Foreign Service Posts. DOS is required to evaluate, test, and deploy new systems for video surveillance applications as a part of the DS Counterterrorist effort. The requested system will provide NTSC measurements, graphic displays, pre-purchase evaluation and comparison of cameras, acceptance testing, and camera maintenance to assist in the evaluation and approval process. The critical or unique features, which are mandatory in its intended use, or application that limit the availability to a single source. The Tektronix system provides many capabilities in one piece of equipment. It is a digital waveform monitor, digital vectorscope, picture display, noise measurement set, and automatic measurement set all in one. The Model numbers are as follows: VM700T Video measurement set VM700T 01 NTSC measurement S/W VM700T 21 camera measurement. Our intent is to purchase this equipment through Tektronix Inc., Federal of Beaverton, Oregon.
