Description

The contractor shall manufacture sixty (60) each Titanium Mold Sets for the U.S. Army Research Laboratory, Armor Mechanics Branch, APG., MD. Materials for processing the mold sets will be supplied by the Government. The requested delivery date is 31 May 2001. It is the intent of the Government to award a contract on a sole source basis to AIM Inc., Parkton, MD pursuant to FAR 6.302-1. The proposed contract action is for Titanium Mold Sets for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within fifteen (15) days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Quotes may be faxed to (410) 278-6522.
