Description

The Tamarack Lake Trail No. 4 Reconstruction project is 2.1 kilometers long and is located in the Anaconda-Pinler Wilderness Area. The use of motorized equipment is NOT permitted, except for motorized rock drills. Work consists of construction staking, clearing and grubbing, excavation, rock excavation, shallow stream fords, borrow, grade dips, individual rock removal, switchbacks, trail restoration, rock waterbars, puncheon and existing trail obliteraiton. This trail project is located on the Pintler Ranger District, Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest, Granite County, Montana. Work is estimated to begin July 1, 2001. Contract time is 87 days. Price Range is between $25,000 and $100,000. Approximate issue date is May 20, 2001.
