BRACKET ASSEMBLY, TOOL KIT. NSN 2540-00-409-8891, IQC01108000002. I/A/W U.S. ARMY DWG 19200, P.N 7346922. This solicitation is an RFP or IFB and will be available on the Internet at http://dibbs.dscccols.com/Rfp on its issue date of 060401. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. The Small Business size standard is 1000 employees.Drawings are posted with the solicitation on the DSCC solicitation web-site. If the drawings are not posted with the solicitation, see Clause L07 -- Availability of Drawings for information on how to obtain the drawings. FEDERAL, MILITARY AND COMMERCIAL SPECIFICATIONS CANNOT BE PROVIDED BY DSCC. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed _5_ years. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns. Interested parties may obtain copies of Military and Federal Specifications and Standards, Qualified Product Lists, Military Handbooks, and other standardization documents from the DoD Single Stock Point (DODSSP), in Philadelphia, PA. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
