Description

This is a combined synopsis/RFQ for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The US Army, Fort Lewis, Washington. Is in the process of upgrading existing Fiber Optic Testing Equipment. The government is seeking the following commercial items: All items are manufacture specific or equivalent P/N Description Qty 2 TD-1423E CMA4000 Mainframe base Module platform Built in Floppy Drive & Hard Drive, 2Mb Flash Ram, 1Mb SRAM, 8.4 " Active color Matrix Display, Built in Keyboard, 2 Serial Port, 1 Parrelel Port, 1 mouse port, 1 ext. VGA port, 1 PS/2 Keyboard port, 1 carry Strap, AC adapter/charge Line Cord TD-14M5711X Optical Module for CMA4000 QTY-2 850/1300 nm(20/22dB), 1310/1550nm (32/30dB), +10dBm Power Meter, Stabilized Light Source. VFL-XX Visual Fault Locator for CMA4000 OTDR Modules QTY-2 Networks Windows Emulation Software with OTDR purchase QTY-2 Note: All materials must ship at once, no partials will be accepted. The government prefers FOB Destination pricing. If quoting FOB Origin, include city/state and estimated shipping cost. The Government will award a Purchase Order resulting from this combined synopsis/RFQ to the responsible contractor whose quotation, conforming to this RFQ, which is the lowest price, and most advantageous to the Government. Offers shall be evaluated for fair and reasonable price, adherence to applicable clauses, provisions, delivery schedule and satisfactory past performance record. The government anticipates a Firm Fixed Price purchase order. Incorporated provisions and clauses are as follows. FAR Provision 52.212-1, applies to this acquisition. Offer shall include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offer Representation and Certification-Commercial Items, which may be accessed on the Internet (http:''www.arnet.gov/far/). Additional applicable FAR Clauses: 52.212-4, 52.212-5, 52.222-3, 52.203-6, 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.225-1, 52.225-3, 52.225-13, 52.225-15, 52.232-33, 52.232-34 and GSAM Clause 552.212-71, 552.229-70 apply.
