Request for Information (RFI) for Conducting a Computerized Assisted Telephone Interview (CATI) Survey for Active Duty Unintended Pregnancy Study (ADUPS) 1. The Air Force Medical Service Operation Agency, Population Health Support Division (AFMOA/SGZZ), Brooks AFB, TX, is soliciting your comments in response to several questions outlined below regarding the Active Duty Unintended Pregnancy Study (ADUPS). This RFI is not a formal solicitation and is not a request for proposals. Any formal solicitation will be announced separately. This RFI is for information and planning purposes only and is not construed as a commitment by the Government. 2. The purpose of ADUPS is to collect information about unintended pregnancies, and associated demographic and behavioral risk factors in the Active Duty Air Force (ADAF) population. The Government desires to hire an outside contractor to conduct the ADUPS survey using a Computerized Assisted Telephone Interview (CATI) format, preferably under a firm fixed price contract. 3. This RFI is being published in conjunction with the ADUPS Draft Statement of Work (SOW) and Draft Contract Milestone and Deliverables Chart. The proposed specifications for this contract are outlined in the Draft Statement of Work (SOW) and in the Draft Contract Milestone and Deliverables Chart. At this time, the Government is interested in comments concerning the feasibility of the requested tasking and proposed timelines. 5. We would greatly appreciate any feedback you have to offer to the following questions: a. The Government-projected budget is less than $65,000. The Government needs a minimum of 1500, preferably 2000, completed surveys. Is that realistic for the budget? b. Would your organization/company find it difficult to perform and complete the above task within a firm fixed price contract? c. Is the three (3) month time period specified for the interview phase sufficient and reasonable for completion of the required number of completed interviews? If not, what would be the minimum time span your company would require to complete the interviewing? d. Is the proposed Draft Contract Milestone and Deliverables Chart timetable achievable? If not, provide suggested changes and provide your rationale for those recommended changes. e. Would your company be able to comply with the special requirements to have female-only interviewers to conduct the CATI survey as designated in paragraph 5.2 of the SOW? If not, how would your company ensure the comfort level of the interviewee in responding to this survey? f. What form of quality control or supervisory review/availability would your company offer to a survey of this type? g. If you have any additional comments or suggestions to improve or clarify our draft SOW and proposed deliverables schedule, we would greatly appreciate your input. h. In regards to the items marked tailorable item' on the draft SOW, please provide input as to feasibility of this request and how (if applicable) your organization would handle this request. 6.
