Description

The Management & Training Corporation, d.b.a. Inland Empire Job Corps Center located at 3173 Kerry Street in San Bernardino, CA. 92407 is currently requesting proposals for conducting the food service operation at this center for our students and staff using our facility. The students vary from 16 to 24 years of age with a capacity of 310 students. An additional 90 students will be added throughout the remainder of the year. In addition, there will be approximately 200 staff per month eating in this facility. The subcontractor will procure provisions, prepare and serve meals on a cafeteria basis, and perform other services during the period of the performance. The subcontractor will manage approximately eleven MTC kitchen staff. All bids submitted must include a (minimum of 3) references from a Federal, State or City Institution. This will be a two year base contract with provision for three (3) separate one year options. The option years will be exercised at the discretion of MTC and with the approval of the U.S. Department of Labor. A statement of work for subcontract will be handed out at a mandatory proposer's conference and facility walk through May 31, 2001 at 2:00 P.M. in the cafeteria dining room at the IEJCC. The proposer's conference and walk through is open to answer all questions and to inspect the site where food services will be performed, and to satisfy proposers as to all general and specific conditions which may effect their proposals.
