Description

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has a requirement for conference services for the Networks for People Conference to be held in Washington, DC on December 5-7, 2001. Through competitive procedures, it has been determined that The Renaissance Washington DC Hotel of Washington, DC is the only vendor available on the dates required with the needed space available. The Government shall award a fixed-price purchase order to The Renaissance Washington DC Hotel for meeting space, food services and audiovisual equipment. FAR clauses and provisions referenced in this announcement may be downloaded from http://www.arnet.gov/far. This procurement is authorized by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13-Simplified Acquisition Procurements. The procurement document and incorporated provisions are those in effect through FAR Circular 97-24. FAR 52.212.1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, FAR 52.212-4, Contracts Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders-Commercial Items are applicable to this acquisition. This is not a request for quotations. A solicitation package is not available.
