Description

This requirement is for a Mobile Recovery Unit, Fuel Sponge (compatible with aviation fuel recovery), Ryan Manufacturing, Inc., model FS1000HV or equivalent. This is a synopsis for commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. N47408-01-T-0222 is issued as a Request For Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation is set-aside for Small Business, size standard: 500 employees. Description: Naval Facilities Engineering Service Center has a need for a BRAND NAME OR EQUAL Fuel Sponge. Each complete structure shall include a 12 gallon highly volatile fuel sponge, fuel sponge Size: 42X45X39 cabinets with metal ramp gate, heavy steel trailer (fifth wheel steering, brakes, tongue actuated brakes), the whole trailer is 84", 110 gallon recovery/disposal tank, optional 12 gallon sponge kit. ESTIMATED SHIPPING WEIGHT: 900 LBS EACH UNIT (1,800 TOTAL). Evidence of Qualifications: Descriptive literature and all specifications are required to determine if the Fuel Sponge is equal. Failure to provide any information can cause your quote to be found technically unacceptable. Award will be made to the offeror with the lowest price and technically acceptable. Evaluation criteria will be descriptive material to ensure it is an equal and all items asked for in this solicitation. Request for quotation (RFQ) number is N47408-01-T-0222.
