Description
Description This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 of the FAR, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 334310. The Small Business size standard is 750 employees. This project is 100% Set-Aside for Small Business Concerns. The contractor shall provide all management, licenses, tools, supplies, parts, materials, equipment, transportation, and labor necessary to Design, Furnish, and Install an Audio Visual Presentation System for the Base Theater at Fairchild AFB, Washington. A new audio-visual system is required to allow the capability to view PowerPoint type presentations, video clips via DVD and SVHS for training sessions and other briefings. The following is a list, but not limited to, of equipment and materials required: 2 each Sharp, P-10, Projectors; 2 each Buhl-W1, Wide Angle Lens; 1 each Tascam, DVPS530-D, DVD Player; 1 each Panasonic, PVVS4820, SVHS VCR; 1 each Teac, PDD3200, 5 disc CD Player/Changer; 1 each Tascam, 112MKII, Cassette Player; 1 each Extron, DVS150, Video Scaler; 2 each Extron Computer Interface; 4 each Shure, LX14-18, Wireless Lavalier Microphone; 4 each Shure, LX2/87, Wireless Handheld Microphone; 1 each TAO, A912MK2, Microphone Mixer; 8 each TAO, V-01F, Input Modules; 1 each Crown, K-2, Amplifier; 4 each Klipsch, KI-362-B, Speaker; 1 each Klipsch, KSM-12-B, Audio Voice Monitor; Klipsch, installation Hardware; 1 each Middle Atlantic Locking Rack System; 4 each Middle Atlantic Shelf Unit; 2 each chief, SL-236, Ceiling Mount 36_ Retractable; 2 each Chief, RC-10, Remote Control; 2 each Chief, SS-10, Safety Strip; 2 each Chief, ST-15, Terminals for Safety Strip; 2 each Chief, IR-10, Infrared; 2 each GyroMouse Cordless Presentation Mouse; 1 each Panja, Axcent3, Control System; all required cables, connectors, and accessories; 1 each Podium with Flat Screen Monitor. The Base Theater is currently under renovation, therefore, any necessary electrical or conduit needs will be provided by the government. The successful audiovisual contractor will be required to furnish an equipment installation plan detailing all necessary conduit placements and electrical equipment requirements. The following Provisions and Clauses apply to this announcement: Solicitation provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors -- Commercial Items (Oct 2000) applies to this acquisition. FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation_Commercial Items (Jan 1999) applies to this acquisition and is completed as follows: (a) the following factors shall be used to evaluate offers _ Technical capability of the system offered to meet the Government requirement; price; and past performance. Technical and past performance, when combined, is approximately equal to cost or price. FAR 52.212-3, Representations and Certifications_Commercial Items with its alternates I and III (May 1999) apply to this acquisition. FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions_Commercial Items (May 1999) is applicable to this acquisition. Addenda to FAR 52.212-4 is as follows: FAR 52.219-6/Notice of Total Small Business Set-Aside (Jul 1996) and DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration (Mar 2000) apply to this acquisition. Note: Lack of current registration in the CCR will make an offeror ineligible for award. A one-time mandatory site visit will be held at the Base Theater, 521 West Castle Street on 07 May 01 at 1:00 p.m. local time. Solicitation F45613-01-RB007 is issued as a request for proposal. Proposals are due 15 May, 01 by 4:00 p.m. Pacific Time. Faxed or E-mailed proposals are not allowed and will be considered non-responsive.
