Description

In accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures of FAR Part 13, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Gotschy Optotechnik (GOT), of Hallein, Austria. The EPA is FACNET certified. The NAICS code for this requirement is 334516. The Contractor shall provide to EPA one (1) model LLF-M5, ID number 0103-HC, multichannel fiber optic field fluorometer, as well as required ancillary equipment listed by GOT ID numbers as follows: ID# 0103-L20, Qty. 5; ID# 0103-DB, Qty. 5; ID# 0103-FP, Qty.1; ID# 0103-FE, Qty.1; ID# 0103-FRG, Qty. 1; ID# 0103-FRB, Qty. 1; ID# 0103-Z6, Qty. 1. The LLF-M can discern more than one fluorescent dye per channel (when monitoring for more than one dye at the same location), or the same fluorescent dye for each channel (when monitoring for a single dye at multiple locations). NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposal received within fifteen days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Phone calls will not be accepted.
