Description

Sources Sought -- To establish a 60 month lease-to-own contract for one Automated Immunohistochemistry and Special Stain System. The system should be bar-coded with random access operation with a capacity of at least 20 slides per run. Desirable features would include a heat induced staining system, a coverslip system which prevents sample washoff and dehydration, a mixing and timing system which minimizes the run to run variability and a flexible system such as modularization to allow for expansion with current or new technology. The quality of the stain must meet the standards acceptable to the Pathologists of the Northern California Health Care System. In addition to the monthly instrument lease fee, the contract should state the costs of all reagents and consummables for the term of the lease. This contract is subject to yearly renewal and may be terminated at this time. At the end of the 60 month term the title is transferred to the VANCHCS.
