Description

The U. S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center (USCG ELC) has a requirement for the purchase of 9 each 40' steel, open top, end access, refurbished, not more than 5 years old, Conex, ISO shipping containers with fitted covers. It is possible that the USCG ELC will conduct a reverse auction. Delivery shall be made FOB Destination to the USCG ELC, Curtis Bay, Baltimore, MD. Delivery shall be made by May 31, 2001. This Request for Proposal (RFP) shall be issued via the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) at www.eps.gov. Hard copies of the Request for Proposal will not be issued. It is incumbent upon contractors to monitor the EPS website at www.eps.gov for RFP release and all subsequent amendments. The date and time for receipt of proposals shall be specified in the Request for Proposal. The applicable North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 336212, and the size standard is 500 employees. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered by the agency. This acquisition is a 100% small business set-aside. See Numbered Note 1.
