Description

RFP 3-JC-111-11 will be a small-business set aside for 1) the operation of the Potomac Corps Center, Washington, D.C. 2) for training advanced Job Corps students for various entry level Job Corps center positions; 3) to establish and operate a training site for other center staff to learn and practice managing various Job Corps departments 4) and to train small businesses in Job Corps business techniques. The solicitation will be available at the Job Corps Web Site approximately May 16, 2001. Proposals are due July 16, 2001. A preproposal conference and site walk-thru are scheduled for Friday, May 25, 2001 at 10 a.m. EST. The resultant cost reimbursement, fixed-fee, contract will run from January 1, 2002 through December 31, 2003, with three unilateral option years. The average capacity of the Potomac Job Corps Center is 500 students: 265 residential males and 160 residential females; 35 nonresidential male and 40 nonresidential females. The agency will consider proposals submitted by any responsible source.
