- Description
- SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS, INCLUDING DRAWINGS, WILL BE AVAILABLE ON CD ONLY. The work to be performed consists of construction of four (4) cast-in-place, reinforced concrete flow deflectors in spillbays 1, 2, 21 and 22 of McNary Lock and Dam. Total concrete quantity will be approximately 520 cubic yards. Dewatering of the work area will be required to perform the work. Completion date for the work is NLT February 28, 2002. ADMINISTRATIVE INFORMATION: The estimated cost range for this job is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The standard industrial classification code (SIC) is 1629 and the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 234990. The small business size standard is average annual receipts for the previous three fiscal years must not exceed $27,500,000. If a large business is selected for this contract it must comply with FAR 52.219-9 regarding the requirement for a subcontracting plan on that portion of the work it intends to subcontract. The intended subcontracting goals are that a minimum of 61.4% of the contractor's intended subcontract amount be placed with small businesses including 9.1% with small disadvantaged businesses. The plan must contain a goal of 5.0% with women-owned small businesses and 1% with historically underutilized businesses (HUBZone). The plan is not required with the submittal of a bid. All responsible business sources may submit an offer which may be considered.
