Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number N00164-01-R-4101 is hereby issued as a request for Proposal (RFP). Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-24 and DCN 20001213. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 334511 and the size standard is 750 employees. This requirement is for the following: CLIN 0001 9 each signal data converters (SDCs), Power Systems Group part number PS491. The SDC is a component of the Armed-Helo Forward Looking Infrared Hellfire system and is to be installed in the SH-60R helicopter. The SDC is an electrical power conditioning unit that converts and conditions aircraft power to a usable source for the Hellfire system. Delivery is required F.O.B. NSWC Crane Indianapolis, 46226 within 42 weeks after award. Final acceptance will be at source. The contractor shall provide a certificate of conformance and test data with each unit. Competition is being restricted in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, one unique source capable of meeting the Government's requirement. The Government intends to award the contract to Power Systems Group/Power Paragon, Anaheim CA. Offers that are non-compliant with any material requirement of this solicitation may be rejected without further consideration for award. This will be a firm fixed price contract and will be awarded utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The contractor shall extend to the Government the full coverage of commercial sale warranty provided such warranty is available at no additional cost to the Government. The offeror shall provide its Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code, Contractor Establishment Code and Tax Identification Number. To be eligible for award you must be properly registered in the Government's Central Contractor Registration (CCR).
