Description

This is a modification to a CBD announcement that appeared on 20 April and 24 April 2001 for the JCC(X) Program, RFP solicitation N00024-01-R-2206. These announcements (both are identical) indicated that the planned release date for the RFP was 27 April through 02 May 2001. This is changed to 01 June through 05 June 2001. No phone requests will be honored. At the NAVSEA 02 web site, http://www.contracts.hq.navsea.navy.mil, at the button bar called "INFORMATION DOCS", there is a document listed therein titled, "MNS Final", "Date Posted 04/18/01". In the column titled, "Description", it states that the closing date is 18 May 2001. This is not correct. The planned closing date is 03 July 2001. In addition, there will be an Industry Briefing on 17 May 2001 at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City (703) 418-1234. As a courtesy, a block of hotel rooms has been set-aside for conference attendees. This JCC(X) block of rooms will only be available through 4 May 2001. After 4 May 2001, individual reservations will have to be made, as required. Conference attendees should note that they are attending the JCC(X) conference, if making reservations at the Hyatt Regency. The planned agenda for this briefing follows: Team overview; Program background and overview; Acquisition approach/strategy; Design and engineering development/update; Mission package development/update; RFP structure review; CLIN discussions; General Q&A (Written questions should be prepared during lunch break and answered during the Q&A -- no direct questions from the audience.); Summary. No announcement will be made in the event this agenda changes. Attendance is limited to two persons per company. You must be registered to attend. The deadline for registration is 4:00 PM local time on 11 May 2001. Registration will be by E-mail only; no phone requests will be honored. E-mail registration must be sent to jccx@navsea.navy.mil. Provide the following information: Names of attendees; Name of Company represented; Positions attendees hold in the Company or job titles; Reason for attending; Indicate if your company and/or the attendees are familiar with the JCC(X) Program beyond that which has been recently advertised in the CBD. No phone requests will be honored. Interested parties are reminded to continue to access the CBD and the NAVSEA 02 home page for this program for possible changes in plans, additional available information, amendments, and future events. At the NAVSEA 02 web site, http://www.contracts.hq.navsea.navy.mil, at the button bar called "INFORMATION DOCS", in the near future, a draft RFP solicitation N00024-01-R-2206 will be posted.
